Our 50th Anniversary Community Celebration & Tree Planting
On Saturday May 1st, about 5 dozen people gathered in the pouring rain to celebrate 5 decades of NVCA work. The event took place along the Black Ash Creek Floodway in the Town of Collingwood. The floodway is the largest project ever undertaken by the NVCA. It encompasses a variety of NVCA programs, including flood control, fisheries habitat management, plan review, tree planting, education and outreach, and fostering community partnerships.
