The Nottawasaga Valley Conservation Authority is your public agency dedicated to the preservation of a healthy environment. As your partner, the NVCA provides the expertise to help protect our water, our land, our future.

What's Happening at the NVCA:

Volunteer tree plantings 
April 28th through May 17th

Help plant trees, create stream habitat and improve water quality!

tree planting - smFamilies, student groups and organizations are invited to help plant and mulch thousands of young native trees along our streams and rivers. Orientation will be provided on planting day - no experience necessary! The activity counts for high school student community hours (remember your form!). Please come prepared for all weather (except lighting storms) and wear sturdy shoes, work gloves and a hat and bring sunscreen and water, and a shovel if you have one.

Full details on the activities including times, dates and where to meet are included in the attached flyers. Contact information is also included for each, so please call or e-mail us to know you plan to attend. 

* May 5th in Collingwood - FLYER - with the Nottawasaga Watershed Improvement Program (N-WIP)

* May 4th and 10th in Thornton - FLYER - with the Township of Essa

* May 12th in Shelburne - FLYER - with the Town of Shelburne

* April 28th to May 17th Saturday and evening events across the watershed - FLYER - with the South Simcoe Streams Network

* April 30th to May 17th weekday events across the watershed - FLYER - with the South Simcoe Streams Network

Now Accepting Registration for Camp Tiffin!

Camp Tiffin - canoeingCamp Tiffin is a hands-on environmental learning experience that will enhance your child's knowledge, understanding and appreciation of the natural world and our amazing planet. This exciting summer program focuses on special theme days in which Camp Tiffin "explorers" will discover a variety of species and spaces on our 300+ acre site.

Our camp is designed for children 5-12 years of age, 5 days a week from 9am-4pm.
