Volunteer tree plantings
April 28th through May 17th
Help plant trees, create stream habitat and improve water quality!
Families, student groups and organizations are invited to help plant and mulch thousands of young native trees along our streams and rivers. Orientation will be provided on planting day - no experience necessary! The activity counts for high school student community hours (remember your form!). Please come prepared for all weather (except lighting storms) and wear sturdy shoes, work gloves and a hat and bring sunscreen and water, and a shovel if you have one.
Full details on the activities including times, dates and where to meet are included in the attached flyers. Contact information is also included for each, so please call or e-mail us to know you plan to attend.
